Front Break full

Fall forward with the palms of your hands towards the mat and as you land support yourself with your forearms and toes extended. Turn your head to one side as you land to help preventing contact with the mat area with the front of your face.

Side Break full

Side Break slide a leg  across the front of your body and bend your leg so as if you are squatting down and lower your hip. Swing your legs upward.

Your legs act as a counterbalance as you strike the mat at approx 45 degree angle. Keep your head tucked slightly forward and strike the mat as you land with the palm of your hand.
