Only just behind her was Clair Gillings with another very strong performance and was rewarded with a Silver medal with her only loss of the day to her fellow team member Tierney. Natalie Bunyon and Hannah Shears displayed there improved judo skills and won Bronze medals.
Members from the boys Ryan Car and Michael Peddar also gave a very strong performance with over 40 players competing in there weight groups demonstrated many Ippon wins and Ryan was rewarded with a Silver Medal and Michael with a hard earned Bronze.
Joeley Bishop, Sam Davies and Tom Page gave a good performance for there first competition at this standard. Ben Kyte was on his way towards a medal and had to withdraw due to an injury to his arm. All the team members worked hard together and it was good to see a team warm up taking place run by Kirsty Adams.
