Tendring Judo which is made up of a number of Judo Clubs that work together in partnership to promote Judo on a voluntary basis working with each other to arrange many joint activates.

A safe training environment. Coaches are Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checked and all coaches follow a continuing professional development programme to revalidate their coaching qualifications.

We develop team work and to this end we always encourage older members to help less experienced in lessons.  This helps build their confidence in their own abilities and understanding of the Sprit of Judo which is a way of life.
We aim to provide worthwhile activity which promotes a healthy lifestyle and education of everyday values, useful in today's society through judo: respect, discipline friendship fun and fair play. The positive gains are improved confidence, concentration, self-control, strength, balance, coordination and self-esteem
