ELIGIBILITY:           Competitors MUST produce a valid BJA or Affiliated association licence when booking in. Failure to produce a valid licence will mean no participation – NO REFUND of entry fees.
 
CATEGORIES:          YOUNG MEN: -        Any grade - 14 years of age & Under 21 years of age on the day
 
YOUNG WOMEN: -   Any grade - 14 years of age & Under 21 years of age on the day
 
WEIGHT GROUPS   YOUNG MEN*         U50, U55, U60, U66, U73, U81, U90, & over 90Kgs

YOUNG WOMEN*  U44, U48, U52, U57, U63, U70, & over 70Kgs 

*Armlocks and Strangles permitted
 
Penalty for weight change on the day £2.00
 
WEIGH-IN:                All Competitors                                     Sunday   13:00pm to 14:00pm
                                                                                                 or Saturday 15:30 to 16:00
 
Male competitors must weigh in wearing their judo gi trousers a 0.5kg allowance will be made for this.
Female competitors must weigh in wearing their judo gi trousers and a white T-shirt a 0.6kg allowance will be made for this.
 
METHOD OF ELIMINATION: - Less than eight entries in a category will be Pools, Knockout &
                                                        Repechage. Eight entries and above will be Compound
                                                        Knockout. Categories may be amalgamated if necessary.
 
Entry Fee:    £12.50    Spectators    £2.00 Payable on the day
 
Medals:           Gold, Silver &Two Bronze medals will be awarded in each category where numbers permit.

 

Rules:             These will be in accordance with the current edition of the tournament handbook. The decision of the Tournament Director will be final.
 
Closing date for entries Saturday October 14th 2006
