This unfortunately decision was taken to avoid the BJA National Age Band Championships
which has been arranged to take place on the same weekend as our event. Unfortunately as a result we have had to cancel this years senior section on Saturday as this will clash with a number of other Senior events taking place over the same weekend.

ELIGIBILITY:             Competitors MUST produce a valid BJA or affiliated association licence when booking in.
Failure to produce a valid licence will mean no participation
                                    Novice to 9th Mon, under 16 years of age on the day
 
WEIGHT GROUPS     Boys U27, U30, U34, U38, U42, U46, U50, U55, U60, U65 & over
                                                     65Kgs
 
                                   Girls U28, U32, U36, U40, U44, U48, U52, U56, U61, U66, U70
                                                    & over 70Kgs
 
WEIGH-IN:                Boys     U27 to U42Kgs               :- 08.30am to 09.30am
                                   Girls      U28 to U40Kgs               :- 08.30am to 09.30am
 
                                   Boys     U46 to over 65Kgs          :- 10.00am to 11.00am
                                   Girls      U44 to over 70Kgs          :- 10.00am to 11.00am
 
Male competitors must weigh in wearing their judo gi trousers a 0.5kg allowance will be made for this.

 Female competitors must weigh in wearing their judo gi trousers and a white T-shirt a 0.6kg allowance will be made for this.           

 Method of Elimination:    Less than eight entries in a category will be pools, k.o. & repechage, eight entries
                                      and above will be Compound Knockout. Categories may be amalgamated if necessary.

Entry Fee:                  £12.50                         Spectators £2.00

Medals:          Gold, Silver and two Bronze medals will be awarded in each category where numbers permit.

Rules:             Normal contest rules will apply The “Golden Score” will be used “Golden Score” in OSAEKOMI will continue until FULL TIME or TOKETA .The Decision of the Tournament Director will be final.

Coach's:        Only accredited coaches are allowed to be mat side when their Players are competing
