For JUNIORS this is a Two Star event.

ELIGIBILITY:           Competitors MUST produce a valid BJA or Affiliated association licence when booking in. Failure to produce a valid licence will mean no participation – NO REFUND of entry fees.
CATEGORIES:          Any grade - Under 16 years of age on the day
 
WEIGHT Groups:           BOYS                  U30, U34, U38, U42, U46, U50, U55, U60, U66,
                                 U73, U81 & over 81Kgs
 
     GIRLS                  U32, U36, U40, U44, U48, U52, U57, U63, U70,
                                 U78 & over 78Kgs
 
WEIGH-IN:                BOYS   U30 to U50Kgs             Sunday 08:30am to 09:30am
                                    GIRLS  U32 to U48Kg              or Saturday at 14:30 to 15:00
                                   
                                    BOYS   U55 to over 81Kgs        Sunday 10:00am to 11.00am      
                                    GIRLS  U52 to over 78Kgs        or Saturday at 15:00 to 15:30
 
                                    Penalty for weight change on the day £2.00
                                   
Male competitors must weigh in wearing their judo gi trousers a 0.5kg allowance will be made for this.

Female competitors must weigh in wearing their judo gi trousers and a white T-shirt a 0.6kg allowance will be made for this.

 
METHOD OF ELIMINATION: - Less than eight entries in a category will be Pools, Knockout &
                                                        Repechage. Eight entries and above will be Compound
                                                        Knockout. Categories may be amalgamated if necessary.
 
Entry Fee:    £12.50    Spectators    £2.00 Payable on the day
 
Medals:           Gold, Silver &Two Bronze medals will be awarded in each category where numbers permit.

 

Rules:             Normal contest rules apply. The “Golden Score” will be used “Golden Score” in OSAEKOMI will continue until FULL TIME or TOKETA. The decision of the Tournament Director will be final.
