Received a trophy for the: Most improved Cadet of the Year 2002. Mr. & Mrs. Noto. the parents of Issac Noto who's was a valued member of the Cadet Squad he showed great courage and humanity and was an example to all. Showing how hard work, never giving in and his Judo Spirit has been an example to us all. The experience of cancer touches everyone in there life and earlier in 2002 Issac was sadly taken away from all of us. His example should never be forgotten. Brett Caswell was presented at the High Wycombe Squad Session in October. It was thought it would be nice to ask Mrs. Noto to make the presentation, it was an emotional experience for all concerned, our thanks go to Mr and Mrs Noto, Michael Liptrot and all concerned. Brett fought well all year, pushing Ashley Hutchinson hard for his position at the European Cadet Championships – he produced a series of results and his attitude, commitment throughout the whole year was excellent – again many congratulations and all the best for 2003.
He also competed for GB at Brussels; Bremen International & Training Camp & the Training Camp in Paris. Silver in the Clacton International.
