The Dutch Open Judo Espoir Tournament is our second International of the season – we had  boys competing in all three age groups. We travelled to Holland in two separate groups 1989/91 and 1984/86 on Thursday so that we could compete on Saturday with our boys born 1987/88 leaving Britain on Friday to compete Sunday. 

This is the third Selection event for European Youth Olympic Festival & European Cadet Championships age group 1987/88. the others being Groesbeek and The Midland Area Age Banded Tournament.

Total Medals:

9 Gold - - 7 Silvers - - 11 Bronze  27 Medals in total.

6 players were nominated for the team prize – the Pim Smit Bokaal Trophy

4 of the nominated players gained Gold medals which gave us the Team Trophy.

We have copies of all the Pool sheets and copies are available.  

Our whole group fought well with some cracking judo shown by many of our Cadet Squad Boys. We would like to thank all our players their parents and Coach’s for their help during this event.
