Cadet Squad Player Agreement & Code of Conduct

The following is the Cadet Code of Conduct, which all Cadet Players

 are expected to follow when

         Participating in any Cadet Squad activity.

          • As a member of the BJA Cadet Squad you will be expected to conduct yourself in a manner

            Appropriate to a representative of Great Britain and comply with the rules and the bylaws of

            the BJA, including the BJA Code of Conduct.

          • Exercise self-control, responsible behaviour, consideration of others, courtesy and good

            manners at all times.

          • The purchase or consumption of alcohol or tobacco is forbidden.

          • Neither possess nor use prohibited drugs nor participate in any other practice prohibited by the

            British Judo Association and resist any temptation to take banned substances

          • Comply with all rules, regulations and procedures relating to Drug Control.

          • At all International Events all Curfews will be strictly adhered to at all times.

            No boys are allowed in the Girls rooms and visa versa.

          • Litter must be put in litterbins.

          • Players are not allowed out of Hotel / Stadium without permission of a member of the Coaching

            Staff.

          • Whilst travelling as a member of the Great Britain Team it will be expected that you shall wear

            your Squad Tracksuit & Polo Shirt.

          • Cadets are expected to keep a regular check on their weight, so that they are entered in the

            correct weight category at competitions. Excessive crash dieting and sweating off weight is

            not recommended, and can be dangerous. If your weight is consistently high, you will be

            asked to move up a weight category, or if this is not possible withdrawn from the competition.

            This decision will be at the Head Coach/Manager’s discretion.

 

 

Any breech of this Code of Conduct

could lead to disciplinary action.
